Privacy Policy

Information you choose to provide

When you send an inquiry, Sato collects your first and last name, business name, email address, phone number and country code, your message, and the service or work choices you select. Sato also records a submission ID and basic source information such as the page, referral source, and campaign tags. Please do not submit passwords, secret keys, protected health information, or highly sensitive client data through the public form.

Newsletter information

If you subscribe to Morning Byte or another Sato newsletter, Sato may collect your first name, email address, optional work context, browser time zone, and any subscription preferences you choose to provide. Newsletter permission is separate from permission to respond to an inquiry, and every marketing message includes the applicable unsubscribe path.

How the information is used

• To review and respond to your inquiry.
• To maintain an inquiry record, prevent duplicate delivery, and send the requested confirmation.
• To detect automated abuse, rate spikes, and duplicate submissions.
• To prepare a relevant recommendation and improve the website and follow-up process.

Website measurement and your choices

Sato uses a U.S.-first model. In the United States, anonymous Vercel Analytics, Google Analytics, and Apollo website sales intelligence are enabled by default after a clear notice. Outside the United States, Google Analytics and Apollo stay off until you accept optional tools. The Privacy choices control lets you change Google and Apollo independently at any time. Future advertising is currently unused and off by default.

Analytics and service providers

• Vercel hosts the website and supplies aggregate traffic and performance analytics.
• Google Analytics measures pages, campaign attribution, and conversion events. Sato does not send form names, email addresses, phone numbers, company names, or messages to Google Analytics.
• Apollo may use website activity to suggest a possible visiting company for sales research. An Apollo match is a clue, not proof that a specific person submitted a form, and it does not automatically enroll anyone in outreach.
• Notion stores inquiry records and delivery status. Resend sends owner and customer notifications.

Global Privacy Control and opt-out signals

When the browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, Sato keeps Google Analytics and Apollo off for that browser. You can also use Privacy choices on any page or email keith@satosystems.com. Necessary security, form-delivery, and saved-choice functions remain on.

Selling, sharing, and advertising

Sato does not sell inquiry contact details for money and does not rent form submissions to advertisers. Some state laws may describe sales-intelligence activity as sharing or targeted advertising even when no money changes hands. You may turn Apollo off through Privacy choices or Global Privacy Control. Advertising tools are not currently in use.

Retention and security

Suspicious or rejected intake is quarantined for up to 30 days for abuse review and then becomes eligible for deletion. Ordinary inquiry records may be retained for up to 24 months unless a client relationship, legal duty, security need, or requested deletion changes that period. Security rate limits store a one-way source hash rather than a raw source address in the intake ledger. Sato uses practical safeguards, but no internet service or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your choices

You may ask what personal information Sato holds about you, request a correction, or request deletion when no legal or operational reason requires retention. Depending on where you live, additional access, portability, objection, restriction, appeal, or opt-out rights may apply. Contact keith@satosystems.com to make a request.

Updates

If this policy changes, the last-updated date will change. Material changes will apply from the updated date forward.
